The Program

Lessons that build real archers.

This is where archery becomes a skill you own. Over weekly classes you build real fundamentals from the very first steps and develop your own process, advancing as you master each level, never on a clock.

Class schedule

Every open class, in one place.

Lessons run as monthly memberships. You come each week, work at your own pace, and move up when you have earned it. No five week clock, no restarting a level you already passed. Pick a time below and register.

How you progress

You move up when you're ready.

No guessing what comes next. You advance by mastering the skills of your level and developing your own process, then moving up, not because a session clock ran out. No one gets held back waiting for a calendar, and no one moves on before they're ready.

Every archer progresses on their own track, at their own pace. There's room here for every kind of archer.

Inside the coaching

What you'll actually work on.

Every level is built on the USA Archery 11 Steps of Shooting. This is the real checklist your coaches take you through, one skill at a time. Graduate a level and you earn an official USA Archery achievement pin.

Fundamentals

  • Stance straddle the line, open stance, correct width
  • Posture boots, butt, back and brain in line, head straight, weight even
  • Core engage the quads and glutes, chest down, back straight
  • Grip proper V-grip, relaxed fingers, knuckles at 45 degrees
  • Hook thumb and pinkie tucked, wrist straight, hand relaxed
  • Anchor knuckle to the side of the chin, string to the nose and chin
  • Equipment know your nock set, rest, grip and index vane
  • Loading the bow nock the arrow, index vane out
  • Bow etiquette carry and hold the bow vertical
  • Range rules pull arrows safely and keep them pointed downrange

Process

  • String alignment string on the tip of the nose, lined up with the riser
  • Aiming align the string to the arrow tip, shoot the four corners at 10m
  • Load and transfer shoulders down, engage the scapula through the draw
  • Release relaxed fingers, a clean strum, released vertically
  • Follow through the bow drops forward, the release hand comes back
  • Timing a steady one, two, three rhythm from anchor to shot
  • Reset seven to ten seconds of calm between every shot

Where it leads

For archers who want to take it further, there's the Club. Friendly competition, traveling to events, and a team that has shot together since the 1980s. It's there when you're ready, never a requirement.
